NEVADA BIG GIVE - April 25, 2014
Computers for Kids, Inc. is proud to be participating for the first time in Nevada’s Big Give on April 25, 2014. It’s 24 hours of unprecedented online giving to nonprofits throughout Nevada—and it’s your chance to make a real difference right here in our community. If you care about the education of Nevada’s students, please show how you care through Nevada’s Big Give, where you help sustain the organizations that give so much to our community. For as little as $10 you can help our non-profit, provide a computer to enhance a student’s education and show our community’s youth how much we care. Please help our organization by clicking on this link: www.razoo.com/story/Computers-For-Kids-Nevada. Give where you live!
PAY IT FORWARD
Computers for Kids, Inc. (CFK), recently received a large advertising grant that they will use to “Pay It Forward”. This grant money will be used in individual schools or clubs to “Bridge the Digital Divide”. It is the goal of CFK to see that every child has a computer system at home to do school work. Schools or clubs that spreads the word and gets 150 students a home computer will receive $5.00 per application (total $750.00). Plus, WIN their school or club 10 Pentium 4 computers with Windows 7 and one year of tech support for every 150 students that apply. Any school or club not needing the computer systems will receive $10.00 per application. That’s $1,500.00 for their school or club. Just go to cfkidaho.org and download the fundraiser application, remember to put your school or club information on each application so your team gets credit. For more information please click here.

Welcome to Computers for Kids, Inc.
CFK offers children an exciting opportunity to gain the necessary high tech skills needed to join the workforce as computer literate adults and navigate in our complex electronic world.
Thousands of students have been assisted to date, with the possibilities for further distributions growing exponentially. This is a result of new computer products being developed and
produced, and companies replacing their existing systems.
CFK has distributed over 30,000 computers and recycled over 1,400 tons of computers, monitors, and computer equipment to
date. Donations of computer equipment and software programs for CFK's program are received from individuals, schools and government agencies. Our donation program helps to address the
growing problem of older computer systems being discarded to the landfill or shelved and unused, taking up warehouse space. It also provides a tax credit opportunity for the donors.
Our mission is to offer students K – 14th grade the opportunity to enhance their education through the use of technology at home.
